Walter Fumani Maluleke
Walter fumani maluleke, born 1991 in Limpopo province at a village called Thomo under Giyani Municipality in Mopani district to a broader. Maluleke started arts at a very young age when he was in grade 3 in 2003 at Thomo primary School. He had been in arts industry for more than 14 years in the main stream practice but it has been difficult to get support since in his village there is no studio where artists can express their inner emotions.
As a passionate visual artist, He participated at murals painting at his community crèche called Ma E’no early learning centre in 2012/06/10. He then enrolled with (TNC) Tshwane TVET North College for a Diploma in Art and Graphic Design in 2015/01/02- 2016/23/06 after his matric.
He was awarded a certificate of appreciation by the Department of Art and Culture, for assisting with realization of youth goals at Ekurhuleni performing Art competitions in 2016/19/03.
Since then Maluleke has exhibited in solo and group exhibitions and the body of his works were able to expose his work to other parts of the country and South Africa at large by interpreting and communicating Africans struggle through visual arts
